Outlook encryption of email provides true email security end to end or 'Person To Person'. The only truely
secure encryption suitable for Outlook is RSA Public Private Key encryption. All other encryption algorithms (DES, AES
etc.) are unsuitable for Outlook encryption because they are 'symmetric encryption' algorithms which require that
a password be transmitted to the other end to decrypt, which renders the secrurity ineffective.
RSA encryption is used by all financial transactions on the internet, including all credit card payments. If RSA encryption was ever broken,
the commercial internet would have to be shut down.

We own a UK patent on the methodology employed to achieve RSA security without the use of an externally validated Digital Certificate.
The problem with most RSA applications for Outlook is that they use Digital Certificates to validate
the identity of the person at the other end. With Person To Person no digital certificates are required. Person To Person
encryption has its own patented public key infrastructure which allows you to positively identify the person at the other
end. Unless you intend to send confidential emails to people you don't know, then you are by far the best person to carry
out this identification.

separate toolbar is provided in the create email screen to allow emails to be encrypted on an ad hoc basis.
